The Health Research Board was established under the Health (Corporate Bodies) Act 1961 by SI No 279 of 1986, from the amalgamation of the Medico-Social Research Board and the Medical Research Council of Ireland.
The Turnstone in their logo is a reflection of the HRB’s ongoing commitment to improve health through research and information. The Turnstone is a bird that leaves no stone unturned in pursuit of food. In the same way the HRB aims to support a constant research in the pursuit of knowledge to improve health. The publications page of the HRB’s website contains the most recently published HRB publications.
In the subpages to this section, you can view and search publications in multiple ways.
• You can search the entire list of HRB publications
• Search publications by HRB Unit and / or HRB Directorate. Each HRB Unit and HRB Directorate will also have its publications listed and searchable within its own sub-part of the HRB website.
